Anton Kupriyanov is born in 1991 in the village of Bolshiye Uki, Omsk Region. Lives and works in Tara. He studied Design and Computer Graphics at Omsk State Pedagogical University. Since 2016, he has been a member of the creative association and exhibition space "Sugrob" alongside fellow artists Ivan Shatov and Denis Rusakov.
Anton creates paintings often categorized as Naive Realism, though he personally prefers the term "Cloudy Impressionism." His works reflect everyday life and desolate, anonymous spaces. Using the cold color palettes dominant in his pieces, he conveys scenes saturated with the breath of northern air. His focus centers on stories from ordinary lives, where color challenges daily routines. He emphasizes that he does not idealize small industrial towns but invites viewers to see—and love—Siberia through his "gloomy romantic" lens.
Denis Rusakov is born in 1992 in the village of Klyuchi, Omsk Region. Lives and works in Tara since 2011. Largely self-taught, he graduated from the Art Department of TF OmGPU in 2015. In 2016, he co-founded the creative association and exhibition space "Sugrob" in Tara.
Denis works across diverse media: primarily painting and graphics, but also photography, mixed techniques, and objects. His style embraces Magic Realism—a genre that juxtaposes the mundane with the extraordinary, blurring boundaries between reality and imagination.
